Find the raw materials
Mine deep Overworld fluorite; scheelite and tantalite occur in newly generated outer End terrain.
Existing chunks stay untouched. Costlier transformation recipes also provide the three raw materials in old worlds.
Refine each material for its use
Fluorite calibrates optics. It is not a substitute for silicon or metal.
Refine scheelite into tungsten contacts and tantalite into capacitors: two distinct industrial roles.
Purified silicon and resin begin the wafer and substrate chains. Follow the actual recipes in JEI or EMI.
Prepare for later components
Dragon's breath makes film in batches. A reusable precision module needs a Nether Star; advanced drives need shulker shells.
